I feel like it’s been a while I reminded y’all how phenomenal you are, hope you are good..?. The country has been crazy , with the increase in the cost of living and little or no income. Don’t worry it’s going to be alright, don’t let the problems of Nigeria weigh you down it’s too much for one person to carry. Today’s post is the first episode of weird things I do, incase y’all haven’t noticed I am all shades of weird (a lot of people have mentioned it to me) and a big thanks to those who haven’t noticed or noticed and didn’t tell me.
Today I am going to tell you guys about a problem I think I have. I know we all have that really disturbing trait that even we have noticed, well for me I could be so obsessive (
writing it out loud now makes it seem serious). I am basically always on the internet meeting new people yet not meeting people if you know what I mean. I probably sound like a psycho now but trust me I am not the level of coocoo you are probably thinking.
So I could be scrolling through Instagram, then stumble on a video or picture of a random person and something strikes me, maybe their fashion sense or vibe (yes I could sense someone’s vibe from their picture or video)… the next thing I do is to click on the page and checkout every single post they have ever made, then if I see someone else in their picture or video I do the same with them and that’s how the cycle continues, that’s my pattern for ordinary people. For celebrities mostly musicians and artists, sometimes actors (for actors I found out that it’s the character they play in specific movies that I obsess over, so I can’t really stalk them), I read extensively about them like; where they schooled, lived and mostly the genesis of their creative journey. I’d download every song they have ever sung (for the musicians). I often fantasize having a one on one interview with them even the characters in movies, like just get into their brains and just be on a picking spree. There is something about the people I stalk, their vibe, energy, and most of all their minds (I often wonder how someone could be so creative). I feel like there is a lot that could be learned from these guys, I am always on the lookout for that person (lol that’s what drinks my data) y’all should try it, maybe not as intense as I do it and maybe in the feild you have a passion for, you’d be shocked at what you could learn from people you haven’t even met.
The interview I often replay in my head is one with the character Joker from the movie “Joker”, if you haven’t watched it well I am sorry you might not understand. That movie just proved my theory right “no one is born a bad guy, situations and people create bad guys”. Don’t get me started on how the movie was amazing. So yeah, there are some questions I would love to ask Joker like;
How and where do you learn to dance like that..? I think we can all agree that joker busted some moves in that movie, at least that is what I think.
Could you be my dance tutor..? Y’all remember when I said I want to start dancing, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to learn from joker.
Do you think you would ever love anyone…? So we know that joker went through a number of ordeals before he became joker, I am presently doing a research and knowing the answer to this question would bring me closer to my conclusion.
What drives you…? and how do you feel after taking a life…? This is for another research, I have a flare for how the human mind works especially the broken ones.
There are more questions I would love to ask but y’all might get bored, then stop reading and I wouldn’t want that. For those that didn’t pick up a moral from all of this my ridiculousness, the moral is open your mind to people around you regardless their age, race or whatever stereotype you classify people with and learn. Everyone has something to teach whether directly or indirectly just be open enough to learn. I for one has learned a lot of things from the countless homo sapiens I have stalked.
